Irresistible 'Free to Enjoy' treats!

Finally arrived! Free to Enjoy, a new range of irresistibly delicious wheat free and gluten free luxury chocolate biscuits and cluster bites. This range has been developed by Kallo Foods’ Marketing Manager Lena Symonds, whose husband Richard is a coeliac.

Lena was inspired to develop the range having had personal experience of living with food constraints. She wanted coeliacs to be able to enjoy indulgent treats which they can be sure are absolutely safe. Lena approached the task with passion and commitment and was helped on the way by Richard, who acted as a ‘guinea pig’, and a local Coeliacs group while the products were being tested.

“It’s so difficult to find foods which coeliacs can enjoy,” Lena continued “It’s really frustrating and can make you feel like an outcast. I wanted to develop a really indulgent treat which people like Richard would be happy to share with their friends. My aim was to ensure that the Free to Enjoy range tastes and looks just like the real thing.”

Suitable for vegetarians and free of any artificial preservatives, colourings and hydrogenated fats, all products have been made in environments that are absolutely wheat and gluten free.

The new products are already available from the ‘free from’ sections in Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and Morroson, as well as from Holland & Barrett stores.

More products will be launched under the Free to Enjoy label later in the year.
